Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies


For our first session of Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies we got together to brainstorm ideas for characters. Here’s what we decided:

  • The characters would come together due to a shipwreck onto a secret Crailese colony of dangerous exiles, who are kept alive because they might be needed in the future.
  • Two characters will be Colronan Royalist Musketeers who were traveling on the wrecked ship to obtain supplies for the latest war with the Zultanate.
  • One character will be an ex-pirate on the run from the Dread Pirate of Ilwuz, whose crew mutinied and stranded him on that exile colony.
  • One character will be one of the aforementioned exiles, a genius tinker and weapons developer.
  • One character will be a Barathi Spider on a mission to assassinate one of the exiles.
  • Firearms will be as powerful as any sword, and not a show-stopping device.
  • Magic will require a style die expenditure to produce any effect beyond adding its MOD to rolls.
